THE NOT SO LITTLE BLACK DRESS + WEDDING OUTFIT TIPS

Feels so good to be back with another outfit post. I'm laughing at myself right now because I promised

myself that posting "twice" a week on the blog was going to be a goal. But here I am, posting after what? 2 weeks?

It's never easy but like I said in one of my blogger edition post, you give your most time to your number 1 priority, and blogging isn't it.

So with that said, shall we?

Today I'll be  sharing with us my top 5 wedding outfit tips and of course flaunting the THRIFTED LBD (little black dress)  I just purchased for an amazing price which I intend wearing to the next wedding I'll be attending and that takes me to my first point...

1. WEAR BLACK

Now it isn't compulsory but I've had days where I have tons of nice outfits in my closet but it doesn't just seem to work out so therefore I always settle for a BLACK DRESS. So whether or not you're trying to play safe or trying to activate your inner black panther, a black dress is what you need!  Don't forget to infuse a pop of color either with your belt, clutch, shoes etc.

(You don't want to look like you are going to a funeral ceremony, okay?)

2. NEVER WEAR WHITE

I always ask rhetorically "how would feel if another woman shows up at your wedding wearing white? " . All I'm trying to say is that a white outfit is a no go area for a guest to a wedding, the colour white or off white. Leave it for the bride, thanks.

3. KEEP YOUR ACCESSORIES SIMPLE

We've heard that outfits are never complete without accessories but this doesn't mean it should be blown out of proportion. I like to live by this quote "SIMPLICITY IS KEY ". you can't wear a beach hat to a wedding just because you are being asked to accessorize.

Personally, I wear just statement earrings a cute bangle, if necessary a simple necklace. I hardly wear watches to a wedding ceremony as I feel it's too serious for such.

4. BE MODEST

Ever heard of modesty is the way of life?  Yep. Same applies to how you dress. In as much as, fashion itself how saturated and overwhelmed most people in our world today that modesty and decency has been kicked out of the door by most ladies right now, unfortunately I can't say the same for myself. I am a fashion and style blogger but I don't let fashion control me. I control it. I decide what to wear and how to wear it even if everybody is doing it the other way. I haven't really talked about decency so I'm pretty much going to say a lot here. Most fashion bloggers have so being overwhelmed with the it word "trend" that they throw away their FAITH out of the door. I am a devoted Christan and I am still a fashion style blogger. I will not sell my conscience for worldly benefits. I am God's representative therefore it should speak through my dressing. What I wear and how I wear them.

Yep that's me, when something bothers me a lot, I end up writing a long epistle about it  Please and please, always look decent my loves. You are more beautiful when you are all covered. Whether at a wedding, in your office place, school. Don't be the kind that easily lets things like fashion trends get to easily. Have a standard and live by it.

5. STAND OUT

Finally, stand out, how do I do that myself?  I always remind myself that I have a set of cute 32 teeth and a beautiful gap teeth. So I wear a smile always!  Like a clothe, I wear it. Most people don't know this but a smile on a  nice outfit oozes out confidence and then makes the outfit not just nice but beautiful. This is my secret to standing out in a crowd full of nicely dressed people, what's yours?  Discover it and use it to your advantage and you'll be the most remembered wedding guest there.
